We went through the most frightening flight experience ever flying from Osaka to Bangkok. Not only did we have turbulence, but all of a sudden, it felt like the pilot lost control as the plane tossed up and then plunged downward to the left for about 5 seconds. The G force was greater than any roller coaster ride.⠀
⠀
In those few seconds, there were people screaming. Bill and a few others who weren`t wearing their seat belts flew out of their seats. I look at my boys who are in the middle aisle seats and they`re both looking at me with terror in their faces as they begin to scream in fear. (thank god we had our seat belts on) It was truly 1 of our most terrifying moments where you feel like Holly shit we could be screwed here. Those moments where your whole life passes you in those few seconds.⠀

Thankfully the pilot controlled the flight again. ⠀
And people start laughing with relief, some were still stressing about the ordeal and the boys suffered their first post panic attack. ⠀
We laugh about it now and just grateful to be able retell the story. ⠀
Lesson learnt - ⌚ A lot can happen in a matter of seconds.⠀
💺 Always wear seat belts when seated. 👬our own reactions to a situation often make it worst than what it is. 🧘♂️Keeping calm and breathing in frightening situations is the most important thing we can do for ourselves. 🙏 .⠀

...of the waterfall! Seljalandsfoss is a unique and popular waterfall in Iceland because visitors can walk BEHIND the falls! How cool is that?!

Here are some tips when visiting Seljalandsfoss: 1) wear a poncho or rain jacket, because you WILL get wet trekking behind the falls. 2) There is a parking fee, make sure you pay before leaving the lot! The fee is 700ISK (about $5.70usd) 3) There is a cafe and toilets on site. 4) Plan for about a 45 minute stop for this trip!
